Cartoon Network scored big Saturday night at the fourth annual Hall of Game Awards. After over 100 million on-line votes were counted the famous GAME trophies were bestowed to the best in sports. The International Animated Film Society, ASIFA-Hollywood recognizes the year’s best in the field of animation each year.

Disney’s Frozen took home top honors for Best Feature Animation.

Zach is “Young Jiro” in the English-Language of THE WIND RISES

which was nominated for Best Feature along with a 2014 Golden Globe Nomination and 2014 Oscar Nomination.

The International Animated Film Society, ASIFA-Hollywood, hosted its 41st Annual Annie Awards, recognizing the year’s best in the field of animation, last night, February 1, 2014 at UCLA’s Royce Hall in Los Angeles.

 Zach Callison(voice) as Steven in Steven Universe, the latest original animated comedy series from Cartoon Network Studios, will premiere Monday, November 4 at 8:00 p.m. (ET, PT) on Cartoon Network. Steven Universe will join fan-favorites Adventure Time, Regular Show and MAD, for a powerhouse prime-time comedic lineup.

Steven Universe is about the misadventures of a boy named Steven, the ultimate “little brother” to a team of magical guardians of humanity—the Crystal Gems. Steven may not be as powerful as the Crystal Gems.  Or as savvy.  And he doesn’t have much control over his powers, which originate from the gem in his bellybutton. But that doesn’t stop him from joining Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl on their magical adventures and somehow finding a way to save the day! Steven Universe is created by Emmy® and Annie Award-nominated writer and storyboard artist Rebecca Sugar (Adventure Time). Ian Jones-Quartey (The Venture Bros., Adventure Time) serves as supervising director.

Steven is an energetic, lovable, half-Gem of a boy who is still trying to figure out his powers to become the true hero he is destined to be. Radio Disney Music Awards-2013-Winner and Pictures

The Radio Disney Awards picked their winners this evening, and among those were One Direction, Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift.  There were also some great performances by Selena Gomez, Bridgit Mendler, Cody Simpson, Coco Jones, Austin Mahone, Mindless Behavior and Cher Lloyd.

The RDMA show will be presented SATURDAY, MAY 4 on the popular WATCH Disney Channel app available on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, as well as online at WATCHDisneyChannel.com.  The RDMA show will also air on SATURDAY, MAY 4 (5:00 p.m., ET/ 2:00 p.m., PT) and SUNDAY, MAY 5 (11:00 a.m., ET/8:00 a.m., PT) on Radio Disney.  The excitement continues FRIDAY, MAY 10 – SUNDAY, MAY 12 when Disney Channel presents a special “RDMA Weekend” showcasing performances and winner highlights airing nightly beginning at 8:00 p.m., ET/PT. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In addition to the music awards, five kids from across the country received the “Heroes For Change” award in recognition of their efforts to make a difference in their communities.  Each honoree was recognized on stage alongside their favorite stars:  Misha Ahmad on behalf of UNICEF; Denzell Perry for Boys & Girls Club of America;  Dara Reyes for the National Park Foundation; Ben Harowitz for Free the Children; Mary Dawson for Youth Service America.  Additionally, Ellen DeGeneres, The Wanted, Carly Rae Jepsen and Justin Bieber appeared via video to present a Special Recognition Award to manager Scooter Braun for his charitable work with Pencils of Promise.
