2014 ANNIE AWARDS FEBRUARY 1, 2014
The International Animated Film Society, ASIFA-Hollywood, hosted its 41st Annual Annie Awards, recognizing the year’s best in the field of animation, last night, February 1, 2014 at UCLA’s Royce Hall in Los Angeles.
Frozen won the top prices for BEST FEATURE ANIMATION. as well as 4 other ANNIES. Monster University received 2 awards and Toy Story of Terror received 3. Dreamworks, The Croods, won three awards. Hayao Miyazaki won the award for writing for The Wind Rises.
Steven Spielberg, Phil Tippett, and Katsuhiro Otomo were honored with career achievement and exceptional contributions to animation with special awards. see the full list of winners:
