Young Hollywood comes out and supports the Eighth Annual FIRST STAR Celebration for Children’s Rights
On Sunday May 20, 2012, The Eighth Annual FIRST STAR Celebration for Children’s Rights honored Heroes in the fight to protect children. This years celebration was held at the Pritzker Home in Beverly Hills.
There was games for the kids, a silent auction, and then the heroes were honored. Sarah Aubrey & Eric Harmon, “Battleship” producer and LA Deputy District Attorney; Ellen Goldsmith-Vein and Jon Vein, Principal at The Gotham Group and CEO of Market Share; Sara Miller McCune, Co-Founder and Chair of SAGE Publications; and Jim Wilson, CEO of Atari– for their humanitarian efforts on behalf of children.
Some of the Young Hollywood that came out were Zach Callison, Zachary Gordon, Evan Hofer, Julianna Rose, Jennessa Rose, Isabella Rae Thomas, Emily, Alyvia and Natalie Alyn Lind. It is great that these young actors are helping to create awareness for children’s rights.
Brian Gott, Publisher of Variety, spoke to the crowd as well as Peter Samuelson, co-founder of First Star and UCLA Chancellor Gene Block. They all are supporters of First Star and are helping to create awareness of the campaign of First Star.
