Young Hollywood came out to support the 39th Annual Annie Awards, a celebration of the best in animation across project, studio and geographic boundaries.  The event was hosted by Patton Oswalt(Young Adult) and he kept the audience in laughter throughout the night.  The event on February 4, 2012 was held at Royce Hall on the UCLA campus in Los Angeles.

Presenters included Ariel Winter(Modern Family), Brittany Snow(Harry’s Law), and Logan Grove, who was also nominated(The Amazing World of Gumball).

June Fornay, who created the Annie Awards was there of course with her great charm. The June Fornay award which is presented to an individual’s significant and benevolent contributions to the art and industry of animation went to Art Leonardi.

Julianna Rose(Khumba), Zach Callison(Sofia the First), Jennessa Rose(Ponyo), Zachary Alexander Rice(VO Spots), and Isabella Rae Thomas(Brothers and Sisters) all were there in support of the Annie Awards.

Rango – the animated hit starring Johnny Depp won the award for Best Animated Feature  Kung Fu Panda 2‘s Jennifer Yuh Nelsonwon Best Feature Director.
