Young Hollywood serves the community of Los Angeles at the LA Mission Easter Event on Good Friday 4/12/2012

Young celebrities, Billy Unger, Boo Boo Stewart, Fivel Stewart, Julianna Rose, Jennessa Rose, Zach Callison, Isabella Rae Thomas, Misi Stomber , Zachary Alexander Rice, all came out today to show there support and help feed those in need at the Los Angeles Mission Easter for the Homeless on April 22nd, 2011.

Each year, celebrities and political leaders, along with hundreds of volunteers come out to serve nearly 4,000 meals to the homeless and perform the ceremonial foot washing tradition. Foot washing, which has both spiritual and practical applications for the homeless, will be provided by the Los Angeles Christian Health Centers. The organization uses this opportunity to partner with the Mission to address foot problems suffered by many on the streets of Skid Row.

Over 2,000 pairs of new shoes were distributed by Etnies, the world’s leading Action Sports footwear and apparel manufacturer, who has donated the shoes, and will have staff on hand to ensure a proper fit for everyone. Toys by Jakks Cares

The Los Angeles Mission is a nonprofit organization serving the homeless living on the streets of downtown’s Skid Row. Faithfully, for 75 years, we have saved many lives and have had a profound impact on thousands of others by providing compassionate, humanitarian services
